Here's the week ahead for our Falcons! We have a little extra bonus with Christmas Spirit week too!

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 Fozzie is gearing up for Christmas! Santa's helper teamed up with Fozzie to buy AMAZING Falcons bracelets for every student and staff member at school! The bracelets have a powerful message, "Believe In Yourself". Fozzie delivered these to each classroom this week. All the kids said "Thank You, Fozzie!" It was pretty paw-some! 📚 Thank You, Masonic Lodge of Bernie, MO! 📚 We are incredibly grateful to the Masonic Lodge of Bernie, MO, for their generous donation, which allowed us to purchase much-needed classroom materials. While not all the items are pictured here, their contribution is already making a big impact on our students and teachers. 📣What's Happening Wednesday📣 Friendly Reminder of our Winter Concert, TOMORROW NIGHT!

🎂Happy Birthday, Mr. Ted🎂 We planned a "surprise" for Mr. Ted's birthday today, and sent home info with families that we would honor Mr. Ted today by dressing like him. Thanks for all you do for us, Mr. Ted!

The Kelso C-7 Board of Education will have their regular monthly meeting this Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 6:00 pm. All are invited and welcome to attend. Kelso C-7 Board of Education will be accepting candidate filings for board members starting Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 8:00 am and will continue during regular hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm. Filling will not occur on days that the district office is closed due to inclement weather. Filling will also not occur on the following days when the District’s office is closed: December 20 after 12 noon and the following days: December 24-27 for the Holiday Break. The District Office will be open from 3-5 pm on December 23 and December 30. The last day of filing will be December 30, 2024, until 5:00 pm. There are two positions available for three-year terms. The positions up are Andrea Koepp and Julie Heisserer. Either the Board Secretary or the Superintendent can accept filings.

🏀 Join Us for a Game That Makes a Difference! 🏀 This upcoming Monday, 12/9/24, come cheer on our Falcons as we take on St. Paul Lutheran School in an epic basketball showdown! 🏆 But this game is about more than just basketball—it's about community, compassion, and supporting one another. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go directly to JJ Bledsoe, a brave student battling cancer. 💛🎗️ JJ is an 8th grader attending St. Henry's in Charleston but has been playing basketball with our neighboring school, St. Augustine. 📍 Where: Kelso C-7 School District - Gym 🕒 When: 5:30 pm Let’s pack the stands and show JJ and their family that they’re not alone in this fight. 🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 This has been an important week in the season of giving. Our hearts are FULL as donations came pouring in for our Angel Tree families. Fozzie is proudly sitting next to our Angel Tree, where all families/ornaments were chosen. Also pictured is a very tiny fraction of the items that were brought in. Again, we have such gratitude in our hearts and we are so thankful to everyone that donated to this wonderful cause.🎄✨❤️

Dear Parents and Guardians, We apologize for the delay in sending home the picture retake order form. Attached is an image of the form for families interested in individual retakes, which will take place tomorrow. Here's how you can place your order: Review the attached order form to make your selections. Send your completed form and payment with your child tomorrow morning. Additional order forms will also be available in the office before school. Please note that order forms for boys’ basketball and cheerleading pictures were sent home earlier. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!

📣Student of the Month📣 We love celebrating and recognizing our students. We are so proud of all of our students and all they are accomplishing in their classrooms. We were missing one student from our whole group picture that we took yesterday, but couldn't publish our announcement without her. Great Job, Falcons!

✨Weekly Spotlight✨ Even with only two days of school last week, we racked up several Positive Office Referrals. We are proud of our students every single day, but their genuine acts of kindness make us even more proud. Way to go, Falcons!!
