There is so much happening inside our classrooms. Our teachers do a wonderful job of guiding students to deeper levels of thinking and have set high expectations for their classrooms. We are so thankful for all of their hard work!💙✨

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾
Look who got a PAW-sitive Office Referral this week???
It was time our favorite furry friend earned a little reward for all the love he spreads throughout the school. Fozzie is always ready for students to come see him in the office. He is a pal to everyone, from students to staff, and even parents and grandparents that visit!
Fozzie loves visiting the classrooms, seeing his friends in the hallway, and he LOVES posing for pictures with students. Yes, Fozzie has learned that when the phone comes out, he gets to pose for a picture!📸🐾
We are so thankful for all the PAW-sitivity that he spreads throughout the day. Congrats, Fozzie, on your PAW-sitive Office Referral! 🐾

New Hamburg 4-H: All community members in grades 3 and up are invited to attend an informational meeting about New Hamburg 4-H. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at the St. Lawrence Gym at 6:30 pm.
New Hamburg 4-H will meet quarterly and will offer short-term learning experiences for members. Opportunities will include cooking, outdoor adventures, and additional activities to be announced. Some of these learning experiences will also be offered in partnership with Kelso C-7 after-school programs.
There is no commitment required to attend the informational meeting—this is simply a chance to listen, learn, and see what 4-H has to offer.

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾
This week, our Kindergarten students were working on the letter "F", and they got a special visit from their favorite friend, Fozzie!
Here are a few pictures from his visit! The students learned about how to pet him the right way, and so many of them loved his soft fur!

Patriots Day
Today, even in the shadow of yesterday’s tragedies, we pause to honor and remember. 💙💛
Our hearts ache for the crimes that shook our sense of safety and the impact on our children and community. Yet even in sorrow, we hold tightly to the hopes we carry for their future.
May we find strength in the darkness, hope in one another, and a way back to the unity we all felt on September 12th.

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 There’s no better way to end the week than with our sweet therapy dog, Fozzie! He’s been busy making his rounds at Kelso C-7, sharing tail wags, snuggles, and plenty of love with our staff. Fozzie loves seeing all of his pals in the building. When he sees them, his job is to first sit before he can be petted. As you can see from these pictures, they loved seeing him as much as he loved seeing them. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend . 🐾🐾

What a week!! Our first full week of school and we have several students ranging all the way from Pre-K to 8th grade who earned Positive Office Referrals! WOW! We are SO PROUD of our students. Fozzie is proud of them as well!
We are also proud of our staff who recognized these students going above and beyond and took the time to give them a referral.
We are so fortunate to have great students AND staff at Kelso C-7!

🔨 Grandparents Day Update
Due to ongoing construction, Grandparents Day has been postponed until a later date. We’ll share the new date as soon as possible—thank you for your patience and understanding!
⛳ Falcon Foundation Golf Tournament
Join us on Friday, September 26 at the Cape Jaycees Golf Course!
We’re currently looking for teams and volunteers to make this event a success. All proceeds will go toward supporting Falcon Foundation Grants that directly benefit our students and classrooms.

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾
Our furry staff member, Fozzie the therapy dog, had a wonderful week at Kelso C-7. He made his way into most classrooms, spreading joy and calm wherever he went. Students loved seeing him at dismissal as he rolled out in style in his stroller, and of course, he managed to sneak in plenty of naps and treats in between all the love and attention. 💙
We are so thankful to have Fozzie as part of our school family—he’s already making a big difference in the hearts of our students and staff! 🐶🐾

As we begin this new school year, my heart is truly full of gratitude. As administrators, we had a vision for how we wanted this year to begin and because of the generosity of our PTO, we were able to make it happen.
✨We were able to partner with The Signal Event Center for beautiful balloon arches and table décor that set the perfect tone for both our teacher inservices and our Back to School Night.
✨We are also thankful for Dippidi Doo Dah Treats, who spoiled our staff with the sweetest dipped goodies.
✨Also, our PTO provided Amazon gift cards for every staff member, as well as Falcon t-shirts for every staff member AND substitute teacher.
To our PTO: THANK YOU for VOLUNTEERING your time, love, and energy into Kelso C-7. Because of you, our Falcon family feels encouraged, celebrated, and ready for a wonderful year ahead. 💙💛
