Note: Change on Board Filing Date from 30th to 31st. The Kelso C-7 Board of Education will have their regular monthly meeting this Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 6:00 pm. All are invited and welcome to attend. Kelso C-7 Board of Education will be accepting candidate filings for board members starting Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 8:00 am and will continue during regular hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm. Filling will not occur on days that the district office is closed due to inclement weather. Filling will also not occur on the following days when the District’s office is closed: December 20 after 12 noon and the following days: December 24-27 for the Holiday Break. The District Office will be open from 3-5 pm on December 23 and December 31. The last day of filing will be December 30, 2024, until 5:00 pm. There are two positions available for three-year terms. The positions up are Andrea Koepp and Julie Heisserer. Either the Board Secretary or the Superintendent can accept filings.

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 Fozzie has been spoiled with Christmas presents! Thank you to the sweet Falcons who gave Fozzie a little extra holiday cheer!🎄❤️🎄 Fozzie is looking forward to break! 🎄 Angel Tree Success! 🎄 ✨ This season together we made a difference: 💖 Provided clothing and gifts for 118 individuals 🔥 Supported 2 families who lost everything in housefires with $350 each A heartfelt thank you to the incredible Angels who organized the Angel Tree and made this possible. Your dedication and hard work brought joy and hope to so many! 💕 And thank you to everyone who contributed—your generosity shines brightly this holiday season! 🌟

✨Weekly Spotlight✨ Our LAST Positive Office Referral post for 2024!!! We have so many kids who are making good choices every single day. These good behaviors start with what families are instilling in their children at home. We truly thank our families for raising such great students! These kiddos earned referrals for being helpful last week. We are so proud of them! Way to go, Falcons! 2024 has been a GREAT year for Positive visits (and pics with Fozzie!). Let's see what we can do in 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣!

🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 Fozzie is gearing up for Christmas! Santa's helper teamed up with Fozzie to buy AMAZING Falcons bracelets for every student and staff member at school! The bracelets have a powerful message, "Believe In Yourself". Fozzie delivered these to each classroom this week. All the kids said "Thank You, Fozzie!" It was pretty paw-some! 🏀 Join Us for a Game That Makes a Difference! 🏀 This upcoming Monday, 12/9/24, come cheer on our Falcons as we take on St. Paul Lutheran School in an epic basketball showdown! 🏆 But this game is about more than just basketball—it's about community, compassion, and supporting one another. All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go directly to JJ Bledsoe, a brave student battling cancer. 💛🎗️ JJ is an 8th grader attending St. Henry's in Charleston but has been playing basketball with our neighboring school, St. Augustine. 📍 Where: Kelso C-7 School District - Gym 🕒 When: 5:30 pm Let’s pack the stands and show JJ and their family that they’re not alone in this fight. 🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 This has been an important week in the season of giving. Our hearts are FULL as donations came pouring in for our Angel Tree families. Fozzie is proudly sitting next to our Angel Tree, where all families/ornaments were chosen. Also pictured is a very tiny fraction of the items that were brought in. Again, we have such gratitude in our hearts and we are so thankful to everyone that donated to this wonderful cause.🎄✨❤️
