🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 Fozzie loves Red Ribbon Week! Well, maybe not Hat Day😂 He got to wear his birthday hat again for hat day, but begged for it to be taken off. He also thought a moose was attacking Mrs. LeShae, but after sniffing her face, he realized it was only her hat! Then he went to see Mr Jenkins and saw some of his friends in Art class. This week he also visited PreK and Kindergarten, and got a lot of love from the teachers as well! Fozzie is so good at making our adults smile, too! Last, he had a few visits from some of our sweet kiddos! What a fun week Fozzie has had at school!

Cheer Camp is approaching quickly! TOMORROW is the hard deadline for turning in cheer forms and money.
Thank you to all who have turned in a registration so far! It's going to be a great camp!!
This Thankful Thursday...we are especially thankful and EXCITED to share a little sneak peak of a new addition to our gym. We have had a great team to work with for our new bleachers and community to support us along the way.

Subject: Update on School Food Delivery Policy
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to inform you of an important update to our school’s food delivery policy. Effective immediately, third-party food deliveries (e.g., from services like UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub, etc.) will no longer be allowed during school hours**.
This decision has been made with the following considerations in mind:
1. Student Safety and Security: The frequent arrival of delivery drivers has raised concerns about the safety of our school premises. We must ensure that we maintain a secure environment at all times.
2. Health and Well-being: Outside food deliveries may not adhere to the school’s health and nutrition standards. We want to continue encouraging healthy eating habits for all students.
If your family brings in treats for a party or birthday celebration, please have a member of your family deliver them to school (an adult or the student).
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and productive environment for all students.

📣What's Happening Wednesday📣
👐RED RIBBON WEEK Edition👐
We have had a great start to our Red Ribbon week festivities.
📣Monday: Red/White/Blue day and MAN did our 8th Grade class come in ready to show their spirit! Their class as a whole did AMAZING!
📣Tuesday: Hat Day! We had a variety of hats worn, which is always a popular dress up day.
📣Students also have the chance to win prizes for being the "best" in their class at each dress up day. We are spotlighting the top picks from Monday.
📣Last, our 6th graders are spotlighted during Social Studies as they convert short words into cuneiform (early form of writing) on clay tablets.
We are excited to see what the rest of the week has in store for us!

📣Student Spotlight📣
These amazing Falcons all received Positive Office Referrals this week! We are so proud of them and their big hearts!
Mrs. Wagner and the 8th Grade class just wrapped up reading "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. Today, the class dressed as either a "Greaser" or a "Soc" (Mrs Lands and Dr Burger participated as well). They also had a "bologna sandwich and Pepsi" party as well!
Mrs. Wagner is our amazing middle school ELA teacher and she found a creative way to bring life to their book study. Great Job Mrs Wagner and the 8th grade class!

Here's the week ahead for our Falcons:
🐾Fozzie Friday🐾 What a fun week Fozzie had! First, he celebrated his birthday BIG TIME last week! Kaylee and Ava brought him some fun and adorable presents! THANK YOU! Fozzie also got a new harness, leash, and collar in Kelso C-7 Blue💙 Next,Fozzie had a checkup at Cape Small Animal Clinic, where he got "signed off" to be an official therapy dog!! All that is left is for him to complete two assessments! Last, he got to visit with some classes this week! Students have been great at remembering to pet him on his back and on the side. It is important to give him some space so he knows that he is "working". All in all, it was a "paw"-some week!🐾

We understand that sometimes students forget important items at school. 📖 If your child ever forgets something and needs to come back for it, please know that we’re so proud of them for recognizing the importance of their learning. On the same note, for the safety and security of our students and staff, we kindly ask that you avoid returning to campus /classrooms for any forgotten items after 4:30 PM.
This small change helps us maintain a smooth, safe end to the school evening, ensuring that all of our after school activities remain safe and secure.
