Kelso C-7 School – Library
September 15, 2026
A quorum being present and due notice having been mailed and posted, the regular monthly meeting of the Kelso C-7 Board of Education was called to order by President Elizabeth Glastetter on September 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
Board members present were Elizabeth Glastetter, Andrew Mothershead, Dustin Benson, Travis Dirnberger, Michael Glastetter, and Roy Buell.
Others present were Dr. Kim Burger, Superintendent; Kristy Pobst, Board Secretary; Stephanie Hahn, Title Teacher; and Katelyn Jansen, First Grade Teacher.
The Board approved the agenda as presented.
The Board approved the consent agenda, which included the minutes of the August 11, 2026 Tax Hearing Meeting and regular meeting, current expenditures, and the Treasurer’s Report.
Audience to the Board
There were no items presented under Audience to the Board.
Two Minutes of Good
Mrs. Katelyn Jansen, First Grade Teacher, and Mrs. Stephanie Hahn, Kindergarten Teacher, presented the September “Two Minutes of Good” to the Board.
Conflict of Interest Ordinance
Dr. Burger presented the Board with the Conflict of Interest Ordinance provided by the Missouri Ethics Commission. The Board approved the ordinance as presented.
Special Education Compliance Plan
The Board approved the adoption of the state’s version of the Special Education Compliance Plan.
Safety Report
The Board was provided a copy of the District’s Safety Report for review.
Board of Education Policies
The Board was provided the following policies and regulations for review. The policies and regulations will be brought back to the Board for action at the October Board meeting.

Program Evaluation
The Board was presented with the September Program Evaluation covering the Board of Education program evaluations.
Principal’s Report
The Principal’s Report was presented by Dr. Burger. Items discussed included Positive Office Referrals and Administration/Special Education notes.
Superintendent’s Report
Dr. Burger presented the Superintendent’s Report. Items discussed included the CSIP review, transportation for students residing less than one mile from school, Board training, and legislative items.
Closed Session
The Board approved entering into closed session at 7:01 p.m. for the purpose of discussing staff employment pursuant to Section 610.021(3), RSMo.
Board members present for the closed session were Elizabeth Glastetter, Andrew Mothershead, Dustin Benson, Travis Dirnberger, Michael Glastetter, and Roy Buell.
The Board returned to open session at 7:15 p.m.

The next regular monthly meeting of the Kelso C-7 Board of Education will be held October 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
